Good evening all,
A quick note, the contractor that has been hired by the government to do the shotcrete repair work in the Bulldog Tunnel will be starting on this coming Wednesday, Oct 12th. There will be a planned temporary 6-7 day closure of the Bulldog Tunnel while the contractor does this work. I believe they are planning on working right through every day including the coming weekend to get it finished as quickly as possible.
If you have to, please bypass on the old Peter Creek Forest Service road Trail, via the Bulldog Forest Service road Turn-off just before the Tunnel on the Castlegar side. Quads or Bikes can make it around this route, but pick-up trucks cannot get through this route.
