Grand Forks ATV Club Members and their guests are invited to our Reintroduction to Phoenix Ride on June 28, 2025. We will meet at Marshall Lake parking area, leaving at 9:00 am, riding for 3 hours, returning to Marshall Lake for lunch, then heading back out for an afternoon ride. This will allow flexibility for attendees that want more or less riding. Riders should be prepared for all types of weather and terrain. Safety Reminder from Canadian Quad Council
Just because you’re inside a side-by-side (SXS) doesn’t mean you should skip the helmet! Your roll cage, seatbelt, and helmet are designed to work together to keep you safe.
✅ Wear your helmet – Head injuries can still happen inside a SXS. A roll cage protects the vehicle, but a helmet protects you!
✅ Buckle up – Your seatbelt keeps you securely inside in case of a rollover or sudden stop.
✅ Use proper safety gear – Goggles, gloves, and appropriate riding gear add another layer of protection.
In the event of an incident, every piece of safety equipment matters. Make sure you and your passengers are fully protected so you can enjoy the ride—and get home safely.

Drive from Grand Forks west on highway 3 for 20km and turn left onto Phoenix Road. Follow the road up the mountain for 9.5 km and turn right at the Cenotaph. Note: at the 5.5 km on the Phoenix Road you will come to the turn off for the Phoenix Alpine Ski Hill. Stay straight to reach the Cenotaph, keep right and drive a further 1 km to the parking area.
From Greenwood the drive is accessed directly from downtown. Drive up the Phoenix Road until you reach the Cenotaph and turn sharply left and drive a further 1 km to the parking area.
Since parking area has limited space, please park in an economic manner.
